‘Fire Island’ Wins Top Prize at GLAAD Media Awards — Winners List

This 12 months’s GLAAD Media Awards in New York metropolis honored reveals and films like “Fire Island,” “Anything’s Possible,” “Heartstopper” and “We’re Here.”

The awards have been handed out Saturday evening on the New York Hilton Midtown and the ceremony was hosted by “What We Do in the Shadows” star Harvey Guillén.

Maren Morris acquired the excellence in media award, which was launched by Cynthia Lee Fontaine and Alyssa Edwards, and Jonathan Van Ness acquired the Vito Russo Award, which was introduced by Alok.

The annual GLAAD Media Awards continues to honor those that have supplied correct and inclusive representations of the LGBTQ group, celebrating people and their work in movie, tv, journalism, comedian books and music.
