Martin Scorsese is govt producing “Escape,” the following movie from Spanish writer-director Rodrigo Cortés, who burst onto the worldwide scene directing Ryan Reynolds within the 2010 Sundance hit “Buried.”
Set to enter manufacturing on the finish of May, Cortés’ first Spanish-language movie since his debut characteristic, 2007 madcap darkish comedy “The Contestant,” “Escape” stars Mario Casas, a Spanish Academy Award Goya winner for 2020’s “Cross the Line.”

Executive manufacturing on “Escape” is only one instance of a unprecedented outreach to filmmaking all over the world by Scorsese, whose newest film, “Killers of the Flower Moon,” world premiered on the Cannes Festival on May 20.
